Publisher and developer Nacon Studio has revealed the first details about its latest Terminator game. Set in the post-apocalyptic future of the Terminator franchise, the new open-world survival game Terminator: Survivors will be available early in the coming months.
Terminator: Survivors launches early access on October 24th
Terminator: Survivors takes place four years after Doomsday, when the Skynet artificial intelligence launched a campaign to destroy humanity. Players will take on the role of survivors in a dangerous open world, searching for resources and recruiting other humans to build bases.
Skynet’s deadly Terminators will hunt down all humans. Survival gameplay will include missions to find supplies and other people while under Terminator threat. Players can learn more about the events of Doomsday and potentially change the fate of humanity.
Thanks to the Co-op mode, you can team up to four people and strengthen home bases. According to the developer, stealth and avoidance may be more effective than fighting against the Terminator. The game will also feature characters known from the first two Terminator movies.
Terminator: Survivors will be available early on Steam on October 24th to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the franchise. The full version on PC and consoles will be released a week later.
